Update #1: The company

The first update has to be around the company we started about the same time that I started writing this blog. The blog title, content, and subsequent new company all started from my desire to improve my life, which had fallen into the usual blend of boring work in a boring job, and too little social time. In all, a bit boring.

The company is now blooming, and is basically the cause of my blogging absence since its inception. We're now a team of 7, with tens of clients, some very major, and a good reputation to boot. Hopefully, we're in a good position now to ride through the recession.....

Back to Life

I feel the time has come to start writing this blog again, so I'm going to start today. The signs for me were quite clear, and summed up by a funny story that is as follows.

So I was checking the Google Analytics account for our company, Yard Associates, when I noticed that my blog (this blog) continued to provide data. In fact, about twice as many visits to this blog than to our company website. Clearly, my efforts are focused in the wrong area! ;)

So I'll be once again posting regular updates on things I've learnt that might be worth sharing.
